Walking makes you happy and keeps you healthy.

Join one of our walk groups. It will give you the chance to safely explore the outdoors, get to know your local area and meet new people. We have a morning health walk for every weekday. All our walks are led by trained volunteer walk leaders.

ABOUT US

Guildford Health Walks started life in 2009. The first group joined a national Health Walks community, initially under the auspices of Natural England, later managed by the Ramblers. Over the years that first walk group has increased to five, with walks on offer around Guildford and the villages, including Worplesdon, Shalford, and Shere. In 2015 we became a Community Group Association run by a committee. We are currently 35 trained volunteer walk leaders taking turns to lead around 20 to 25 FREE walks a month. All of our walks offer the option of refreshments after the walk, ideal for getting to know the other walkers better.
